UK Baha’i Office of Public Affairs launches new website

The UK Baha’i Office of Public Affairs is delighted to announce the launch of its new website:

The overarching objective of the Office is to contribute to the building of a more peaceful, equitable and unified society.

As stated on the website:

“We collaborate with individualsgroupsacademicscivil society, the media and organisations from a cross-section of society, representing various faiths and those of no particular faith, and together develop contributions on issues of social progress. Furthermore, we co-organise round-table discussions and participatory events, and author publications with the aim of advancing the evolution of thought, public opinion and policy on themes pertaining to social progress.”

Currently the work of the Office focuses on four broad themes: Social Cohesion, the Role of Religion in Society, Freedom of Religion or Belief, and the Situation of the Baha’is in Iran.

The site also provides a page with links to various other resources, websites and statements written by the Office.
