Scottish newspaper highlights suffering of Iranian Baha'is

Mehrangiz Moayyad is an Iranian Baha’i widow who lives in a council home on a quiet Aberdeen estate. What she has suffered for her faith is still shocking after more than 30 years. Her husband, a prominent banker who refused to renounce his faith as a Baha’i, was imprisoned, brutally tortured and killed in Iran in 1982 in the wake of the 1979 Iranian revolution.
